Watch Us Grow...

Food Runners Collaborative broke ground on June 20, 2002, construction began on November 4, 2003, and we held our Grand Opening on November 17, 2004. The site is at 1001 Blair Drive, which is on the corner of Blair and Barbour Drives on the Dix Campus. The pictures that follow show the progress beginning with the ground breaking ceremony as we completed our building and began preparing our first meals in March 2005. The facility was dedicated to NC Senator Vernon Malone, former Wake county Commissioner on January 11, 2006. See History.
